The boat fly fishing at Corbet Lough commenced on Saturday 1 April 2017. The Club has held the cost of boat hire in the 2017 season at just £3.00 per hour for the boat, electric engine, battery and life jackets. This is tremendous value at just £1.50 per hour for the boat sharing angler. The Corbet Lough has been fishing very well since the start of the season with a number of anglers catching fish of 4lbs and better. The best reported fish has been a great Brown Trout of 5lbs 8ozs taken on the fly by Roger McClements on 4 March. As the Lough is fishing so well the boats are very popular. It is suggested that anglers wishing to book a boat should contact the Boat Attendants Office on 028 4062 5039 or 075 9102 7557 in advance to avoid disappontment.
