BAC Friendship Cup Martin Dynes and Sam Vage Joint President 27 January 2017

On Thursday 30 March 2017 Sam Vage, Joint President and Sam Watt, Chair represented Banbridge Angling Club at the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Senior Sports Awards 2017. This prestigious event, which was compered by the UTV’s Denise Watson, was held in the Craigavon Civic and Conference Centre. The two Sams were delighted to accept an award in recognition of the Club’s 70th Anniversary in 2016. Banbridge Angling Club, which is one of the District’s largest and oldest sports clubs, is renowned in angling circles throughout the island of Ireland. It has continually provided game angling in the Banbridge district for the past 70 years. The Club currently provides premier game angling at Corbet Lough and on the River Bann for the local community and visiting anglers. Banbridge Angling Club is affiliated to the Ulster Angling Federation, which is the recognsed body representing game angling in Northern Ireland.
