Dear Members and Visiting Anglers,
As you are well-aware through media sources and the ever-changing government policy releases the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic presents for us all some very challenging times.
Banbridge Angling Club Ltd is working hard to put the health and wellbeing of our members, employees and visiting anglers first.
To this effect the Club Committee have for the foreseeable future taken the decision to postpone Boat Fishing at Corbet Lough, all Club Competitions and Club Committee meetings.
As disappointed as many of you will be with this news, we have made this decision to protect the health of everyone involved in our sport.
All other scheduled Club events are also on hold until further notice.
Fishing is a fantastic means of getting active and outdoors, engaging with your environment and provides significant benefits to our health and wellbeing which are important considerations in the current climate therefore we confirm that Angling on our Club waters will continue as usual.
We ask our members and visitors visiting our waters to pay particular attention to the appropriate government advice in relation to Social distancing and staying safe in the days and weeks ahead.
The Committee will of course closely monitor the evolving situation and updates when available will be posted on the Clubs Facebook account and Web Site.
