During the close season the Club hold fly-tying classes at the Clubrooms, 2a Kiln Lane, Havelock Park, Lurgan Road, Banbridge, BT32 4PD. The classes are provided by some of the Club\u2019s experienced and most competent fly-tyers including William Cochrane, Keith Cole, Stevie Rea and David McCreedy. The classes are suitable for all ages and all abilities from the novice right through to the more experienced fly-tyer. The classes cover all aspects of fly-tying. In addition to learning a new skill there are also social and health benefits to getting out of the house and meeting with other fly-tyers. The demonstrations are free.<\/p>\n

Fly Tying Classes 2025\/26<\/h2>\n

Banbridge Angling Club\u2019s Fly Tying Classes concluded on Wednesday 25 February 2026. The Club intends to run a new Fly Tying Class in November 2026. Please watch the Club\u2019s website and Facebook page for full details in October 2026.<\/p>\n

These classes and demonstrations are run in accordance with the Club\u2019s Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy and Procedures<\/a> in which the safety of the child and vulnerable adult takes precedence. There is always a Club volunteer on site who has undertaken Safeguarding Awareness and Health and Safety training. Parents and guardians are welcome to inspect the Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy and Procedures and accompany their children in the Fly-Tying class.<\/p>\n
