BAC Dinner Dance 26 January 2018 \u2013 Competition Prize Winners and Special Guest Kelly Scappaticci, who presented the prizes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On Friday 26 January 2018 the Club held its annual Dinner Dance and Adult Prize Distribution in the Anglers Rest, Corbet. This was a very successful event with a very good turn out of anglers, riparian owners and friends of the Club. Damian Murtagh, Competition Secretary and his assistant Martin Dynes organised and compered the Prize Distribution with their usual professionalism. The prizes were presented on the evening by Special Guest\u00a0 Kelly Scappiticci. Roger McClements took the accolade of Angler of the Year 2017. Roger won this prestigious award on one previous occasion, back in 2014. It was also great to see Geoffrey Hylands, the current World Cup Fly Angling Champion. Geoff collected the Club\u2019s Straghan Cup which he won on Lough Melvin in June 2017. On behalf of the Club, Damian and Martin thanked the Anglers Rest for providing a fantastic meal and setting for this event. They also thanked Besoke for the brilliant entertainment and Kelly Scappiticci for presenting the prizes.
