BAC \u2013 Juvenile and Junior Prize Distribution at Corbet Lough on 30 May 2019 \u2013 Joint Presidents Sam Vage and Joe McCandless, Joe Curran, Secretary and Wilson Clinghan, Assistant Competition Secretary with the 2018 Juvenile and Junior Prize Winners<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Club\u2019s annual Juvenile and Junior Prize Distribution Evening was held at the Corbet Lough on Thursday 30 May 2019. Although the weather was not great there was another great turn out of juvenile and junior anglers along with parents, guardians, siblings, grandparents and friends. A big congratulations to Imogen Johnston, Juvenile Angler of the Year 2018 and Niall Tumelty, Junior Angler of the Year 2018. Imogen had a fantastic season in 2018 and created a lot of Club history. Imogen is the first female angler to win the prestigious Juvenile Angler of the Year title and she is also the first angler to win both the Club\u2019s Junior and Juvenile Angler of the Year titles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to everyone who turned up for Juvenile and Junior Prize Distribution Evening. A special thank you to everyone who helped in the organisation and on the evening. A big thank you to Philip Jackson, Irish international coarse angler for bringing along his fishing game which all the young anglers thoroughly enjoyed. A big thank you also to Keith Cole, APGAI for providing some casting tips; Geoff Hylands, Henry McKnight and Joe Curran for looking after the BBQ, Sam Watt, David McCreedy and Derick Curran for taking the kids out in the boats; Darrell and Andy, Boat Attendants for having the boats available and tidy; and to Damian Murtagh and Willie Cochrane for all the organising and setting up behind the scenes. A big well done to all the young anglers for their prizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to all the young anglers who turn out to the different competitions. We would love to see many more young anglers coming along to the competitions.
