Banbridge Angling Club is delighted to announce that Frankie McPhillips, the renowned fly dresser and supplier of innovative flies, fly-tying materials and fishing tackle, will be in attendance at the Banbridge Angling Club\u2019s Club House, 2a Kiln Lane, Havelock Park, Lurgan Road, Banbridge BT32 4PD. Please note that Frankie will now be visiting the Clubrooms on Saturday 14 March 2020 from 10:30am \u2013 12:30pm. <\/strong>Frankie, who has been tying flies for over 35 years, is one of the island of Ireland\u2019s best known and respected fly tyers. He will be demonstrating tying his latest patterns, including a new Mayfly pattern. This will be a great opportunity for local anglers to meet Frankie, get a close-up look at his fly-tying techniques and discuss fly-tying patterns. He will also share his experiences of how to successfully fish the flies. Indeed some lucky anglers may also receive a sample of his flies to try over the coming season. Frankie is also bringing along a selection of his fly-tying products which will be available to purchase on the day. This is sure to be a great event and one not to be missed. It is a free event and everyone is welcome.
