On Saturday 2 May the Club hosted the Ulster River Championship on its stretch of the River Bann. The competing anglers caught 214 measurable fish and many more undersize fish. The result and qualifying angers were as follows: 1st Mark Sloan 33 fish, 2nd Andrew Sloan 23 fish, 3rd Stuart McMurran 22 fish, 4th Fintan Carlin 19 fish, 5th Brian Russell 17 fish. Team reserve, Philip Poots. All the fish caught were returned unharmed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
