The Club has increased the daily bag limit at the Corbet Lough to 3 Rainbow Trout with effect from Tuesday 1 July. All Brown Trout must still be returned unharmed and all other Corbet Lough rules still apply. This change is another one of the Club’s ongoing measures, along with the argulus egg posts, reed planting and weed cutting, to help manage the argulus problem at the Corbet Lough. On Thursday 3 July there was a good turnout of boat anglers on the Corbet Lough. All the fish caught in this competition were returned unharmed to the River. On Thursday 10 July all the boats were out on the Corbet Lough throughout most of the day. Indeed the fish are healthy and fighting like tigers. On Thursday 24 July there were some reports of great fish being caught from both the boats and the shore.
