Banbridge Angling Club Limited is one of the largest and most progressive angling clubs in Northern Ireland. It currently has circa 700 members which includes circa 200 juvenile members and 200 associate members. The Club is managed by registered Directors and a Committee which is elected annually at the Club’s Annual General Meeting. There are also a number of sub-committees to take forward specific areas of work. These are The Corbet Lough Management Committee, The Development Committee, The River Committee and The Juvenile Development Committee. The Cub’s Designated Safeguarding Officer and Data Protection Officer are Martin Dynes and Robert Weir respectively. The Club’s primary aim is to promote game angling for its members and visiting anglers for the purpose of recreation, sport and tourism in the Banbridge district. The Club is affiliated to The Ulster Angling Federation.
