On 29 April local angler Adrian McAnarney showed his fly fishing competition skills when he and his boat partner Trevor Beare won the prestigious UTV Flyer pairs trophy, presented for the media flyfishing competition by UTV in 1993, at Straid Fishery, Ballyclare. Adrian and Trevor enjoyed a fantastic days fishing and won the competition with 29 fish to the boat. A great days fishing by anyone’s standards. Congratulations to Adrian and Trevor.
