Anglers should note that from 1st August the boat angling times at Corbet Lough change to take account of the shortening evenings. The Boat Attendants Office opens at 8:00am and boats will be available from about 8:30am. The Boat Attendants Office closes at 10:00pm and the last boats must be back at the boat jetty no later than 9:30pm. The Boat Attendants have the descretion to instruct anglers to bring the last boats in earlier than 9:30pm dependant upon conditions and visibility.
Boat anglers should also note that as the Corbet is continuing to fish very well the boats have been very busy over the past month, especially in the evenings. There have been a few occasions recently when anglers have been disappointed due to the unavailability of boats. It is suggested that anglers phone the Boat Attendants Office on 028 4062 5039 to book their boat prior to travelling to the Corbet to avoid disappointment. This will also help the Boat Attendants to ensure that a boat is prepared and ready for you when you arrive at the Corbet.
