After a month of strong sunshine and high water temperatures the fish stock in the Corbet Lough has been struggling in the conditions. The Club conducted an inspection of the Lough on Wednesday 5 July and although the climate and the conditions have improved in the past week the Lough is still struggling to recover. Therefore the Club has decided that the Corbet Lough will remain closed until further notice. The Lough will continue to be regularly monitored and hopefully the conditions will improve sufficiently and the Club will be able to re-open the Corbet in due course. The Club has also been exploring viable measures to improve the situation.
